Parade Theme: Community/ Patriotism
Parade to be held Saturday, July 3^rd, 2010 @ 10:30 A.M.

Everyone in the parade will be required to purchase a button. Buttons will be $2 for children 5-12 and $4 for adults. You may purchase them at the registration table at the time of check-in or at several Newton area businesses.

Check in time: All entries must check in between 8:00 and 9:30 A.M. at the registration table located at 11^th & Main St. Entries will be given their number and line-up position at this time.

Parade Route: Parade will begin at 10^th and Main and travel south to 5^th St.

Please DO NOT THROW ANYTHING FROM MOVING VEHICLES. Items may be thrown by individuals walking beside your entry. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages will be allowed at this or any Chisholm Trial event.

Decorations are encouraged, but not required for entry into the parade.

Judges will be located between Broadway Ave. and 6^th St. on Main St.

Prize categories: Best float; classic vehicle; best horse and rider (individuals only).

Winners will be announced immediately following the parade at the judging trailer.

Please make sure to mark your entry if you do not wish to be judged.
