Cow Chip is found
The cow chip location is now known
No more clues that make you groan.
City Hall is where the cow chip was found
In front of the sign, right on the ground.
Thank you to Graber's and all who played along
At least you didn't have to sing a cow chip song.
Unpublished clues:
Saturday
When the hunt finally comes to fruition
I will then be at the end of my commission.
Making the clues is harder than thought
I'm afraid I've already said more than I ought.
Sunday
Keeping things running smoothly
Takes more than just being groovy,
Streets and trash and water and parks
None of this can just be done on a lark.
It all has to come from a master plan
And lots of questions are asked of the answer woman.
So what on earth do those clues mean?
Clues 1 and 2 were just prelude and to bring home the point that we really expected hunters to follow the rules.
Clue 3 is telling you that it is NOT at the Blue Sky sculpture.
Clue 4 is telling you it is NOT at Depot Park nor at Military Park (train engine). It is telling you that it is near art (Carriage Factory Gallery) and has the first clue to city hall (chart).
Clue 5 is telling you it is in the downtown area, and indicates that a sign is important in finding the cow chip. The hider's defense is a clue to the municipal court.
Clue 6 is a dead give away for city commission.
Clue 7 indicates all the city planning and refers to Suzanne Loomis, Director of Public Works.
Hope you had fun hunting for the 2010 cow chip. Please be sure to enjoy the rest of the festival.
